In Grade 1, we kicked off the project by preparing our mosaic paper with watercolors, creating a vibrant base.

I often get the question from students of WHY do we have to do sketchbook? Well… there’s lots of benefits!

I think this might be favorite of the year! Kindergarten took a look at Van Gogh’s sunflowers (all 5 of his paintings!) and we dug in.
