Graphic Design — A little more advanced: designing logos from 2 elements. Provided is the name of the company/business and 2 black and white images. The student's challenge is to design a logo from that choosing font, color, imagery, etc. Included is one example for each of the 8 practice logos and another sheet with additional 2 element logo examples. I would suggest to have students thumbnail their ideas on a separate sheet and use these as reference sheets. You can have them take the challenge of all 8 or pick and choose. Great to hang their results all together for group critique, brainstorming and discussion.
