Introduce students to the world of Ancient Greek and Roman art through this engaging contour line and value drawing resource. Students will explore famous Greek and Roman artifacts while practicing observation, contour line drawing, shading, texture, proportion, and value techniques. This resource combines art history with hands-on drawing practice and critical thinking activities designed for middle school and high school art classes.
 
Students will study and draw 4 different Greek and Roman artifacts using both contour line and full value shading techniques. Activities encourage close observation while helping students build confidence in drawing realistic textures, forms, and decorative details inspired by ancient art and architecture.
