LOGO DESIGN — When I teach logo design, it's a little tricky. You don't want students just grabbing logos off the web. You want a real-world job experience, etc. So I pulled this from my actual graphic design client list — students can't find their logo online, there really aren't any that are similar, etc. SO they have to get creative. I've laid this out as a graphic designed would use to go through it. You can have them choose to present digitally, printed, etc. but I'd encourage class critiques and final digital submission to they have that experience for their portfolios as well. First sheet presents what, who, specs, steps to think about and follow, etc the current logo is and gives a couple ideas for a fresh look for the business. I've included blank logo plates for presentation purposes.
