Students get a little closer look at WAYNE THIEBAUD and 4 of his famous works including "Three Donuts" and "Three Machines (gumboils)" that are so popular in all of our art classes. I love to piggy this with any project that is Thiebaud inspired. Some ideas I've done before or after include the paper machine donuts and/or food, painted gumball machines, bingo dabber gumboils, etc. Included are larger versions of the images in the analysis for print or digital. 6 questions are included to get students thinking, looking and analyzing. Teacher's Notes includes background information on 3 works but also general information about how Thiebaud worked that apply to all his art.
