Drawing and painting with Shade and Tint — Learning about the differences between shade and tint when using color. Students get to practice each on the layers of the cakes. Great for use with paint, colored pencil and advanced marker use. Enlarged cake if you prefer for students to do or have them do one color after practice on the smaller pieces of cake. I actually love this as a collaborative board or doorway. Also handy for sub plan, early finisher, bell ringer, intro to lesson.
